As members of the community, we saw a need. What started as a single shelf in the church with just a few staples has grown to a room full of supplies to serve those around us.  We are proud to say that for 16 years, we have never turned anyone away. 

People donate money and new items regularly.   Our local Tesco has a donation box we collect from weekly and many local businesses contribute.  If you'd like to make a donation, you can do so during our regular office hours. 

The Food Pantry is open from 10am to 12pm on a Tuesday and Thursday.  It is open to anyone and is absolutely free.  We do not ask personal questions beyond how many people the parcel is for.  There is NO judgement, NO Shame and NO stigma. 

The food bank began 16 years ago with one parcel being distributed out of the boot of a car.

Since then, it has grown to 40+ parcels a week out of the Harvest Centre and is now able to reach many families in Banff and surrounding areas.

While we used to shop once every two months, we now receive weekly deliveries from local suppliers and charities to help us keep up with the growing need. 

Through our partnership with the Academy, we've helped educate & empower students on the needs in the community and  ways they can meet those needs.  

This community has really supported the food bank over the years.  Community members and business owners regularly donate money and products and we are so thankful!

This ministry is a lifeline for the community.
